One-way traffic for Saints to be relegated
IT'S one-way traffic for Southampton in the Premier League relegation market and Ronald Koeman's team are in to 6-1 for the drop.
On May 11, the final day of last season, Hills were offering a whopping 40-1 about the Saints going down, but that price has totally collapsed.
After Liverpool's move for QPR's Loic Remy fell through, the Reds have been linked with Jay Rodriguez, who is also reportedly being targeted by Tottenham, while teenage defender Calum Chambers has signed for Arsenal.
Rodriguez is 1-2 with Hills to still be at St Mary's after the transfer window closes and 6-4 to have moved on, although Morgan Schneiderlin's future is even more in the balance - it's 5-6 he goes this summer and the same price he stays.
Key men Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren have already left and have been replaced by Feyenoord's Graziano Pelle and Twente's Dusan Tadic, two of the Eredivisie's most effective players last season.
But with only a couple of new recruits since boss Mauricio Pochettino left, punters have clearly decided that enough is enough and have been backing the Saints for the drop.
