Pearson backed to replace Clarke at Royals
NIGEL PEARSON has been the one for money to replace Steve Clarke, who was sacked as manager of Sky Bet Championship club Reading on Friday.
Pearson, out of work since leaving Leicester in the summer, was the subject of heavy support with most bookmakers going odds-on but Ladbrokes are still laying 11-10.
Clarke is 3-1 with Sky Bet to quickly fill the current vacancy at Fulham’s Craven Cottage with Stuart Gray heading the market at 2-1 with Coral.
