Phelan favourite to be next boss to leave post

MIKE PHELAN is the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his current position and Coral cut the Hull boss to 2-1 from 5-2.

A trip to West Brom on Monday follows Friday’s home clash with Everton as Phelan looks to lift the Tigers off the foot of the table.

A couple of Hull’s relegation rivals – Crystal Palace and Swansea – have recently opted for a managerial change but Phelan will be hoping to get the chance to improve the squad in next month’s transfer window.

Swansea’s search for a new manager to replace Bob Bradley seems to have focused on Chris Coleman with the club reportedly approaching the Football Association of Wales in a bid to speak to the national team boss.

However, BoyleSports pushed Coleman out to 4-1 to be next in at Swansea, while bet365 rate Paul Clement the same price.
