QPR gaffer Harry evens to be next top-flight exit
QPR chairman Tony Fernandes said yesterday that manager Harry Redknapp will remain in charge at Loftus Road and is the right man to guide the team out of danger.
Last week Redknapp was the subject of a huge gamble in the next Premier League manager to lose his job market, and was around 1-3 following speculation that he would get the sack if QPR were beaten by Manchester United on Saturday.
Rangers lost 2-0, but Redknapp seemed defiant in the post-match interview and he is now evens in the market after his bullishness was backed up by Fernandes, who added that the players were behind the manager and that Redknapp had "the stomach for the fight".
Under-fire Hull manager Steve Bruce is 4-1 to lose his job next, while Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is a 5-1 shot.
Everton's Samuel Eto'o was left out of last night's squad against West Brom as the striker finalised a move to Italian club Sampdoria.
Eto'o signed for the Toffees in the summer but struggled to nail down a first-team place, scoring just four goals in 20 appearances.
Bet365 are betting on which of this week's Capital One Cup semi-final first legs will feature more goals, and make Tottenham v Sheffield United their evens favourite.
The firm also quote 10-11 that their are six goals or more in the two games.
