Rampant Reds all the rage for title triumph

JURGEN KLOPP has brought the feelgood factor back to Liverpool and the rampant Reds are all the rage to win this season’s Premier League title.

Liverpool are now as short as 9-1 and no better than 11-1 to be crowned Premier League champions following their stunning 6-1 demolition of Southampton in the League Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday.

The win at St Mary’s came quick on the heels of league away triumphs at Chelsea and Manchester City under Klopp, who has engineered tremendous belief in the club since replacing Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.

Klopp is 3-1 with bet365 to win a title by the end of the 2017-18 season, while Hills are 6-4 that the German is able to bring the championship back to Anfield at some stage during his campaign. He is 1-2 to fall short.

Before that, Liverpool will aim for League Cup glory and the Reds, who will meet Stoke in a two-legged semi-final, are 7-4 to win the competition. City, who meet Everton in the other semi-final, are 13-10 favourites.

Daniel Sturridge returned from injury in stunning fashion on Wednesday with a delightful double and bet365 rate him 5-6 to score at least 12 Premier League goals this season.

Sturridge has notched twice in the top flight in only four appearances – the same as Wayne Rooney has managed in 12 games – and bet365 quote the Liverpool man as 4-6 favourite to outscore the United forward, who is 11-10.

The return of Sturridge will come as a welcome boost for Roy Hodgson and Hills are betting on whether he starts England’s opening match of Euro 2016.
