Red-hot England young gun 14-5 to score again
ENGLAND’S man of the moment will be looking to say Harry-vederci to the Italian defence on his first start for the Three Lions as Roy Hodgson gets ready to unleash Harry Kane in Turin.
Kanemania reached fever pitch after he scored three touches into his England debut against Lithuania on Friday and the 21-year-old is 14-5 with Ladbrokes to notch against the Azzurri on Wednesday.
The Tottenham forward is 10-1 with bet365 to score more goals than Italy, while Kane and Wayne Rooney can be backed at 40-1 to combine for at least three. They are 4-6 to fire blanks.
Hodgson had been hoping to calm the masses, but the 6-4 Golden Boot favourite has taken the Premier League by storm after scoring 19 top-flight goals and is in line for a stack of individual awards come the end of the campaign.
Kane is seen as a good thing at 1-8 to be named PFA Young Player of the Year and can be backed at 5-2 to take the main PFA award. He was introduced into the betting at 66-1 only last month.
Skipper Rooney needs three goals to become England’s greatest goalscorer. He is 100-1 with Hills to grab a hat-trick against Italy.
