Redknapp's men cup favourites despite frustration at Stevenage
TOTTENHAM were held to a 0-0 draw at League One Stevenage yesterday but Harry Redknapp’s side remain favourites for the FA Cup after being handed a home tie against Bolton in the quarter-finals.
Spurs face what appears to be a straightforward fifth-round replay with Stevenage at White Hart Lane first and are 5-2 to go all the way, though the top four in the trophy betting were all handed home ties.
Liverpool thrashed Brighton 6-1 to reach the last eight and face a tie against Stoke, who conquered Crawley with ten men, at Anfield. The Reds are 11-4 for the FA Cup and 3-1 to complete a domestic trophy double by landing the Carling Cup too.
Chelsea come next in the betting at 9-2 for outright glory after they were handed a clash against Leicester, but they must first negotiate a replay against another Championship club in Birmingham.
The most competitive tie sees Everton host Sunderland and it is 9-4 with Hills that the current top four in the betting all reach the semi-finals. Blue Square offer 11-10 there is a London winner of the FA Cup and 6-4 that the victors come from Merseyside.
Bet365 refunded all losing pre-match correct score, double result and scorecast bets after Tottenham’s 0-0 draw.
