Reds slashed for the title after latest Spurs romp

THERE’S not a lot to shout about in north London after Liverpool leapfrogged Arsenal in the Premier League title betting following Sunday’s 3-0 demolition of Tottenham.

The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw by Leicester at the King Power Stadium and are out to 12-1 to win the league, while Liverpool have shortened significantly from Saturday’s price of 18-1 and are now considered 11-1 shots.

Tottenham entered the clash at White Hart Lane full of confidence following a perfect start to the season, but they were totally dismantled by the rampant Reds and bookmakers reckon Spurs’ top-four aspirations have been dealt a big blow.

They are out to 3-1 with Ladbrokes, while Liverpool are in to 8-13 to finish in the Champions League qualification places.

Raheem Sterling was the inspiration for Liverpool and the 19-year-old has been cut to 18-1 with Paddy Power to be named the PFA Player of the Year.

He’s as short as 8-1 with Hills to pick up that award and 7-2 with Power in the Young Player of the Year betting.

Brendan Rodgers’ side looked lively and are 7-1 with Hills to score more than 100 league goals this term.

It has been a good weekend for Liverpool but an even better one for Chelsea, who head the Premier League betting at 5-6 and are 33-1 with Coral to go through the campaign unbeaten. They sit top of the table with a 100 per cent record following Saturday’s 6-3 victory at Everton.

Leicester gave an excellent account of themselves with an energetic performance which was in stark contrast to Arsenal’s tepid showing and the Foxes are 3-1 to be relegated.

They have taken two points from a tricky opening trio of matches against Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Hull shortened to 9-2 to tumble into the Championship following a poor 2-1 defeat at unbeaten Aston Villa, who are up to third in the table and 5-1 in the relegation betting.
