Relegation rivals set for crunch clashes
IT’S a huge day at the bottom of the Premier League with all of those involved in the scrap playing crucial matches and none more so than at Turf Moor where Burnley host Leicester on Saturday.
Burnley are 1-2 with Hills to still be bottom of the table at the end of the weekend, while QPR, who host West Ham, are 5-2 to be in the wooden spoon spot and Leicester are available at 5-1.
A couple of teams down at the bottom have suddenly started to pick up results and bet365 are 5-4 that the final points tally of the team finishing 18th is no more than 32. It’s 9-4 that 33 points are needed to survive, 4-1 for 34 and 8-1 for 35.
That is the figure Newcastle currently have and there has been a big move for Steve McClaren to be their manager on the first day of next season.
Paddy Power have suspended betting and Betfair make the Derby boss a 1-3 shot.
