Sanchez set to miss Gunners' league opener
ARSENAL kicked off their pre-season campaign with a 4-0 win over Singapore but it wasn't all good news for the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger confirmed that forward Alexis Sanchez, who has been in action for Chile at the Copa America, will miss the start of the Premier League season.
The 26-year-old will not return to Arsenal until the first week of August and will certainly miss their opening league game against West Ham.
Stoke, who were also in pre-season action against Everton on Wednesday completed the signing of Barcelona winger Moha El Ouriachi.
The 19-year-old is the Potters' seventh signing of the summer and their business has clearly impressed Betway, who have cut them from 12-1 to 10-1 in the betting without the big six.
Championship side Ipswich were handed a boost when in-demand striker Daryl Murphy signed a new two-year contract.
