Shakespeare all the rage after plotting Foxes win
CRAIG SHAKESPEARE moved to the top of the market for the new Leicester boss after the Foxes' 3-1 victory against under-performing Liverpool on Monday.
Former favourite Roberto Mancini has been pushed out to 25-1 to be Claudio Ranieri's successor, while Shakespeare is 17-10 with Paddy Power, and as short as evens elsewhere, for the job.
A Jamie Vardy double and an excellent volley from Danny Drinkwater steered Leicester to their first win in 2017 and two points clear of the relegation zone.
Leicester owners will look to step up their search for a new manager before Saturday's game against struggling Hull and look to have their new man eligible beforehand.
Other names such as Guus Hiddink, a 6-1 shot, Nigel Pearson, 8-1, and former England manager Roy Hodgson,12-1, have all been linked.
The result also means Liverpool's top-four chances have been hindered. They have recorded one win in seven games and are fifth, one point behind Arsenal, who have a game in hand.
