Sorry Sunderland smashed for six
SUNDERLAND were smashed 6-2 against Everton after a second-half collapse at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Goals from Jermain Defoe and Steven Fletcher had briefly pulled the Black Cats level at 2-2 following goals from Gerard Deulofeu and Arouna Kone but that was as good as it got for Sam Allardyce’s side.
Sebastian Coates’s own goal put Everton back in front and Kone later completed his hat-trick, while Romelu Lukaku was also on target for the Toffees.
Sunderland are 2-5 with Hills to be relegated and Bournemouth can be backed at 6-5 with bet365 following their 2-0 defeat at Southampton.
Bournemouth put up a spirited second-half performance but the damage had already been done with Steven Davis and Graziano Pelle scoring for Saints, who had Vincent Wanyama dismissed after 78 minutes.
