Southampton appoint Pellegrino
Mauricio Pellegrino has been named as Southampton's new manager, replacing the sacked Claude Puel.
Argentinian Pellegrino, who led Alaves to the Spanish Cup final last month where they lost to Barcelona, has also previously coached Valencia as well as Estudiantes and Independiente in his homeland.
Southampton can be backed at 8-15 to end in the Premier League’s top half and it’s 5-1 with Betfred and Betway that Pellegrino leads them to a top-six finish in his first campaign.
Saints are 25-1 to be relegated next season.
