Superb Spurs end City's perfect league start
MANCHESTER CITY’S sensational start to the Premier League campaign came to an abrupt end as they dropped their first points of the season in a 2-0 defeat at Tottenham.
City remain market leaders for the title at 10-11 and still lead the table but Spurs narrowed the gap at the summit to just one point at the summit thanks to an own goal from Aleksandar Kolarov and a strike from Dele Alli.

United looked to be heading for maximum points themselves after substitute Anthony Martial broke Stoke’s resistance at Old Trafford but Joe Allen popped up with a late equaliser to move the Potters off bottom spot into 19th place above Sunderland.
