Gulf in class may be too much for City this time

Aston Villa should really have too much for Bradford in their Capital One Cup semi-final first leg on Tuesday.

Don’t be deceived by Arsenal’s failure to win at Valley Parade in the quarter-finals because they were very complacent and Villa are unlikely to fall into the same trap.

There are three division between these sides and even though Villa are locked in a relegation battle, they should win this. In fact it’s because Paul Lambert’s under pressure that I fancy them - he can’t afford to make changes and risk getting beaten.

Make no mistake, Villa are in massive relegation trouble but they should also get to Wembley.
