Toffees are cut for drop after West Brom draw
HILLS have cut Everton from 33-1 to 20-1 to be relegated from the Premier League after they played out a frustrating goalless draw with West Brom at Goodison Park last night.
The Toffees’ best chance came just before half-time when they were awarded a penalty. But Kevin Mirallas took the ball off regular taker Leighton Baines and missed the target from the spot, prompting Everton manager Roberto Martinez to substitute him at the break.
The Belgian’s future at the club was already the subject of speculation after reported interest from Tottenham and Hills go 9-4 that he departs during this transfer window, while Everton striker Samuel Eto’o is expected to finalised a move to Italian team Sampdoria today.
West Brom remain one point behind Everton in the table and are 9-2 for the drop.
