Unsettled Hart 4-9 to start in Slovakia

JOE HART’S ten-year association with Manchester City could be coming to an end within the next 48 hours but his status as England’s number one goalkeeper is expected to remain unchanged and Hills offer 4-9 that he starts Sunday’s World Cup qualifier away to Slovakia.

Hart needs to be playing regularly to ensure he is a long-term fixture in the Three Lions 11 but his chances of game-time at City look non-existent after the arrival of Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.

Hart has dropped to third in the City pecking order yet a deal for his services would be expensive and few big clubs are queueing up to rescue him.

Sunderland and Torino have been mentioned as interested parties and they are 11-4 and 7-2 with Hills to sign Hart before the transfer window shuts.

Losing his England place could open the door for Southampton’s Fraser Forster or Burnley’s Tom Heaton, who are 2-1 and 8-1 to start in Slovakia.

New England manager Sam Allardyce also has a decision to make over the captaincy but he is expected to favour continuity and Wayne Rooney is Hills’s 1-5 favourite to retain the armband. Gary Cahill is a 10-1 chance, with Hart and Jordan Henderson at 12-1.
