Vidal 6-4 to top Copa America scoring charts
ARGENTINA became the third team to reach the Copa America semi-finals with a penalty-shootout win over Colombia in the early hours of Saturday, but their failure to score saw Lionel Messi pushed out to 7-1 to be the tournament's top scorer.
The Barcelona star was 7-2 ante-post favourite but has scored just once, while team-mate Sergio Aguero, with two goals, is an 11-2 shot.
Chile's Arturo Vidal is the joint-top scorer with three and he is a 6-4 chance to stay top of the charts while Peru's Paolo Guerrero, who scored a hat-trick against Bolivia in their quarter-final, is 3-1.
Chile and Peru meet in Monday night's first semi-final and the hosts are 1-4 to qualify for the final. Argentina will face the winners of Saturday night's Brazil v Paraguay clash in the last four.
Following Colombia's defeat striker Jackson Martinez announced he is set to move from Porto to Atletico Madrid, to fill the gap left by Croatia's Mario Mandzukic, who has moved to Juventus.
Portugal booked their place in Tuesday's final of the European Under-21 Championship with a 5-0 victory over Germany on Saturday.
