Willy 7-1 to dislodge Hart for City opener

GOALKEEPER Willy Caballero was unlucky not to have made Argentina’s World Cup squad but instead of preparing for a semi-final he was signing for Manchester City instead.

Caballero played under City boss Manuel Pellegrini for Malaga and was well-respected in Spanish football but he now faces a tough task to dislodge Joe Hart between the Etihad posts.

Coral make Caballero 7-1 to start City’s first Premier League match of the new season away to Newcastle, while Ladbrokes are 2-9 that regular number one Hart keeps his place for the opener.

Caballero is 5-4 with the same firm to start the Community Shield clash against Arsenal and he can be backed at 7-2 to start more Champions League fixtures than Hart.

While the Premier League champions were busy strengthening their squad, so too were relegated Fulham who signed Ross McCormack in a bid to come up from the Championship at the first attempt.

McCormack is 10-1 with bet365 to be the Championship’s top goalscorer next season and Fulham’s new £11m signing from Leeds can be backed at 11-4 with Coral to score more than 20 goals in the second division.
