Wombles 4-1 to come through grudge match
AFC WIMBLEDON finally have the chance to get one over on MK Dons when the teams meet in a televised FA Cup second-round tie at Stadium:mk on December 2, but bookmakers are confident they will come up short.
The fixture was assured after MK Dons won 6-1 at home to Cambridge City on Tuesday.
However, Hills make the Wombles the 4-1 outsiders to progress, while MK Dons are 1-3 to win in 90 minutes.
Wimbledon chairman Erik Samuelson has hinted the frosty relationship between the clubs could be improved if Milton Keynes were to drop ‘Dons' from their name but Hills offer 50-1 about that happening this term.
SFL chiefs have proposed a new three-tier structure of 16, ten and 16 teams for the start of the 2014-15 season but the plan must now garner support from SPL clubs and the Scottish FA.
