Zidane's men cut for further trophy glory

REAL MADRID have already won two trophies this season and the European Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup champions have been cut across the board to defend their La Liga crown this season.

Zinedine Zidane’s side had been level at 10-11 with Barcelona for La Liga glory before beating them 5-1 on aggregate, a result which shows Barcelona have much work to do in their attempts to replace sold superstar Neymar.

Paulinho was unveiled on Thursday but Barcelona will need much more to be competitive, while Luis Suarez suffered a knee injury at the Bernabeu on Wednesday which will see him sidelined for at least a month.

The news of Suarez being sidelined combined with Cristiano Ronaldo missing the first four La Liga games of the season has seen Lionel Messi cut to 10-11 favourite to claim top goalscorer honours.

Hull have received a big blow with the news that Abel Hernandez will be out for up to six months after the striker ruptured his Achilles in Tuesday’s 3-2 defeat by Wolves.

Manchester City remain keen on bringing former Manchester United defender Jonny Evans to the Etihad and Betway are 4-6 that the centre-back returns to Manchester by the end of the summer transfer window. He is 11-10 to stick with West Brom.

Expert verdict
Only twice this season have Malaga avoided defeat, although both of those were at home as they wait for their first shutout of a miserable campaign. Deportivo were left heartbroken to lose so late against Atletico Madrid last time out but they have scored in four of their five away matches.
