Liverpool lost a lot of ground early in the season but can take closer order in the race for a top-four finish by beating Chelsea. The absences of key players has been largely responsible for Liverpool’s inconsistencies and Jurgen Klopp has better options now than at any stage of the season. The demands of European football have had an impact on Chelsea, who have a tough schedule this week – taking on Qarabag in Azerbaijan on Wednesday night before travelling to Anfield on Saturday evening.
