All eyes on top two ahead of pivotal weekend

It's a sprint rather than a marathon now with just ten matches remaining of the Premier League season as leaders Liverpool look to hold off the challenge of Manchester City heading into a potentially pivotal weekend.

City are red-hot favourites away to Bournemouth and 8-13 for the title, whereas 13-8 shots Liverpool, who are one point clear, have a tricky Merseyside derby against an Everton side that would dearly love to dent the Reds' championship ambitions.

Betway are offering a market on the points collected by the title rivals for the remainder of the season with City 5-6 for at least 25 points from a possible 30 with Liverpool at 8-11 for 23 or more.

Goal difference is 10-1 with bet365 to be needed to separate the sides come the end of the campaign with the most likely outcome a winning margin of between 1-3 points at 11-10.

It has become a two-horse race over the last week following defeats for third-placed Tottenham, first at Burnley and then at Chelsea on Wednesday, adding pressure to the north London derby against Arsenal.

Spurs are 4-11 for a top-four finish with Manchester United 11-10 to be in the final four. Chelsea are 6-5 and Arsenal 15-8, while the Gunners are 7-2 to end the season above Tottenham with Mauricio Pochettino's men.

Pochettino is also 3-1 with Ladbrokes to be Real Madrid's manager on the opening day of next season.
