Europa League draw: Man United favourites

Manchester United head the market at 9-2 to win this season's Uefa Europa League but they were handed a gruelling group in the draw in Monaco.

The Red Devils will have to travel to Kazakhstan, Serbia and Holland to face Astana, Partizan Belgrade and AZ Alkmaar in Group L, which they are 1-3 to top.

Arsenal were drawn with last term's semi-finalists Eintracht Frankfurt, Standard Liege and Vitoria and are second favourites to lift the trophy at 6-1 after finishing runners-up to Chelsea last term.

The Gunners can be backed at 2-5 to win their section, while Frankfurt are 7-2.

All three Premier League outfits in the competition are favourites to win their sections, with Wolves rated 5-4 to placed above Besiktas, Braga and Slovan Bratislava in Group K.

Nuno's men have been cut by Betway to 14-1 from 20-1 to win the trophy, leapfrogging 16-1 shots Roma.

Glasgow rivals Celtic and Rangers are 4-1 and 7-2 respectively to top their groups.

Neil Lennon's men will renew their acquaintance with Cluj, who they lost to in Champions League qualifying, and will also play Lazio and Rennes in Group E.

Rangers are the fourth seeds in Group G, which features Porto, who are even-money favourites to win the group, along with Young Boys and Feyenoord.

Sevilla are 12-1 third favourites with bookmakers and were drawn in a soft section with Apoel, Qarabag and Dudelange.

All three English sides should be backed to progress to the knockout phase but Celtic could be in trouble.

The Hoops have endured a miserable record in Europe recently and their cause is not helped by facing two teams with Europa League pedigrees in Lazio and Rennes.

Some early value could be Krasnodar to top Group C at 5-2 above an inexperienced Getafe side (2-1), Basel (9-4) and Tranzonspor (9-2).

The Russians have started well domestically and made some excellent additions this summer including Tonny Vilhena, Remy Cabella and Marcus Berg.

The first round of Europa League group-stage matches will take place on September 19.
