Man City 2-9 to win FA Cup after Brighton win

Manchester City are a step closer to a historic quadruple after sealing their place in the FA Cup final with a 1-0 win over Brighton at Wembley on Saturday.

The Citizens, who have the League Cup in the bag already this season, are just 2-9 to add the FA Cup to possible Champions League and Premier League triumphs in the next two months.

Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring at the national stadium after just four minutes and that proved enough for Pep Guardiola's men. He had been 3-1 to bag the game's opening goal.

Brighton, who are five points above the relegation zone in the Premier League, will now turn their attentions to top-flight survival and it was a lively day in the basement.

The Seagulls are 20-1 with Betfred to go down but Burnley are out to 25-1 with Betfair and Paddy Power after they eased their own concerns with a 3-1 win at Bournemouth.

Cardiff are just 1-8 to join already-relegated Fulham and Huddersfield in the Sky Bet Championship next season while Southampton are 50-1 with Hills after they lost 3-1 to Liverpool on Friday. Saints are five points clear of third-bottom Cardiff.

Newcastle are seven points clear of safety following a 1-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace. Rafa Benitez’s men, though, look to have done enough. They are 100-1 with Hills to be relegated and face three of the bottom five teams in their remaining five fixtures.

Norwich are a best-priced 2-9 with Betfred to win the Championship after a 4-0 win over QPR took them seven points clear at the top. Sheffield United moved ahead of Leeds into second after winning 1-0 at Preston and the Blades are 8-13 to be promoted.
