Red Devils' unbeaten run halted by 10-1 Terriers

Huddersfield produced one of the shocks of the Premier League season so far with a 2-1 win over Manchester United at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday.

The Terriers - 10-1 for victory - recorded their first victory over the Red Devils since 1952 to end United's unbeaten start to the season.

Jose Mourinho's men - 7-19 for the Huddersfield trip -  lost further ground on leaders Manchester City after they brushed aside Burnley 3-0 at the Etihad.

Sergio Aguero opened the scoring for City while Nicolas Otamendi and Leroy Sane added the others to seal the victory and increase their lead over United at the top of the table to five points.

Earlier in the day 9-1 shots Watford almost sprung a surprise at champions Chelsea. The Hornets led 2-1 early in the second half at Stamford Bridge before a late Chelsea charge saw the Blues win 4-2.

City have been slashed to 2-5 by Ladbrokes to win the league while United are out to 9-2 with Betfair and Paddy Power. Chelsea are 20-1 with Betfair to retain their title.
