United pushed out for title after Matic signing

MANCHESTER UNITED continued their hectic summer of spending when Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic was reunited with his former manager Jose Mourinho on Monday, but Betway reported that the midfielder’s capture has not grabbed punters’ imaginations.

The Serbian’s £40m move to Old Trafford follows hot on the heels of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku (£75m) and Benfica defender Victor Lindelof (£31m), but Betway have eased United to 7-2 from 10-3 to win the Premier League this season.

Instead, they reported solid support for title favourites Manchester City, who were cut to 7-4 to win their first Premier League crown since 2014.

The Citizens remain a general 15-8 while reigning champions Chelsea are 7-2  alongside United.

Championship side Fulham have signed Amiens stiker Aboubakar Kamara for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who scored 11 goals for the French side as they won promotion to Ligue 1 last season, has signed a four-year deal with the Cottagers, who are 9-1 third favourites to win the second tier with Betfred and BoyleSports.

England are 13-10 favourites to win the Women’s European Championship after they booked a semi-final with hosts Holland with a 1-0 victory over France.

Arsenal’s Jodie Taylor scored the winning goal and their Dutch opponents are 11-4 second favourites with Betfred and Hills.

Mark Sampson’s team are 6-5 to see off Holland within 90 minutes in Thursday’s semi-final in Enschede.
