Arsenal 300-1 for Euro glory after Milan mauling
ARSENAL are as big as 300-1 with Boylesports to win the
Champions League after they were thrashed 4-0 in their last-16 first leg in Milan on Wednesday night.
Goals from Kevin Prince-Boateng and Robinho put Milan 2-0 up at half-time and the Serie A leaders added two more after the break (Robinho again and a Zlatan Ibrahimovic penalty).
Arsene Wenger’s Gunners have got a mountain to climb when they play the return leg at the Emirates in three weeks and bet365 go 33-1 that they somehow qualify for the quarter-finals. Bet365 also offer 50-1 that Arsenal win Europe's primary club competition next season.
Hills have reacted to events in the San Siro by making Wenger and star striker and skipper Robin van Persie 5-2 to have both left the club by the start of next season (2-1 both stay; and individual stay/go prices are available with RVP 5-6 from 8-11 to stay and Wenger evens to have departed).
And current Barcelona chief Pep Guardiola is the 7-1 favourite in their next permanent Arsenal boss betting.
However, Hills have chalked up the Gunners as 6-5 favourites for the second leg with the Rossoneri at 17-10 and the draw at 23-10.
Zenit scored a late winner to beat Benfica 3-2 in the day’s
other Champions League clash and the Russian champions are
125-1 to lift the trophy.
Milan are now 12-1 shots for Munich glory in May with holders Barca as standout 7-5 favourites for Paddy Power, Real Madrid at 11-4 and Bayern Munich at 13-2.
