You won't find me complaining because I don't need reminding what it used to be like.
I remember when you're whole year was ruined by a rubbish FA Cup final or England v Scotland being a bit of a letdown.
So I've calculated there's been more live football on the telly in the last five days than there was in the first ten years of my life.
I'm quite happy now to take in Mansfield and Lincoln in the FA Cup and all the latest from the Copa del Rey.
I'm more than the kid in a sweet shop.
I'm the urchin who has eaten so many lemon bonbons and fruit pastilles that my head is aching, all my teeth have rotted and I'm on the verge of morbid obesity.
I just can't get enough of it and I'm ploughing on to Bayern to set me up for the weekend.
All we need now is a game to watch while Mrs B is putting on the sprouts for Christmas dinner in a couple of weeks.
Then I'll really be in dreamland.
