This time next year we'll be millionaires
THOSE of you who have regularly read my ramblings will be fully aware that I am hardly the life and soul of any party so it will come as no surprise to know my plans for New Year’s Eve are pretty simple: stay in and watch the television.
Gone are the days when I would happily hand out a tenner for a ticket to the local boozer that would normally have to pay me to go inside.
Those party popper things do my head in and I’ve never understood all the words to Auld Lang Syne so forgive me but I am as interested in New Year’s Eve as the QPR players are in keeping the club in the Premier League.
What a disgraceful first-half performance that was from Rangers in the defeat to Liverpool on Sunday - expect Harry to be wheeling and dealing big time in January.
Mind you, if they maintain Ryan Nelsen and Clint Hill as centre-backs then not even Falcao, Cavani and Ronaldo would keep the not-so-super Hoops in the Premier League.
Anyway, have a happy and profitable 2013 fellow punters and remember as a wise man once said - this time next year we’ll be millionaires.
