Leicester's rivals bending over backwards to help

After seeing the flexibility of some of the Cirque du Soleil performers a few weeks back, I didn't think I'd ever see that amount of people bending over backwards again.

How wrong that prediction turned out to be.

When Leicester could only manage a draw at home to West Brom on Tuesday, the other contenders must have been rubbing their hands at the thought of finally putting to bed this ludicrous idea that a club without tonnes of money and prosecco on tap can win the Premier League. So what happens? They only all go and lose.

Why can't the world just go back to the way it was when you'd get that same sinking feeling when as all the other challengers faltered you knew who they were bending over backwards for as Fergie's Man United inevitably picked up the pieces and won the league. At least there was some sort of continuity.

I shouldn't be too surprised as I did predict just as much the other week but now to make matters even more confusing two of them are going head to head on Saturday.

For the first time in forever, when the Sky bigwigs market the north London derby as a massive game at least there's a hint of truth in it.

Both were blooming awful by all accounts in the week, but I've got a sneaky feeling Spurs can straighten their backs and get the job done against an Arsenal defence doing their best to at least try and finish in their customary fourth place.

If not, I reckon it could be Leicester cartwheeling away on Saturday night when get they business done at Watford later on.
