Black Cats boss Moyes running out of lives

AS if being bottom of the Premier League wasn't bad enough, a row involving a BBC reporter has made Sunderland boss David Moyes's position even more perilous.

The Black Cats boss is evens with Paddy Power to be the next top-flight boss to leave his post after threatening to slap Vicki Sparks following an interview after Sunderland's 0-0 draw with Burnley on March 18.

Moyes had apologised for his comments but Sky Bet go just 7-4 for him to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.

Hills are 10-3 that he has left his post before the end of the season and 1-33 that his side go down. Should that happen it's 13-8 that he is not at the Stadium of Light for the start of the next Sky Bet Championship season.

That eventuality could be a step closer following  Tuesday night's trip to Leicester.

Not much is expected from the vistitors who are 15-2 for victory and bet365 make it 3-1 that Sunderland fail to win any of their remaining nine league fixtures.

Crystal Palace boosted their survival chances with a 2-1 win at Chelsea on Saturday and one of the architects of that success, Wilf Zaha, is attracting plenty of attention after some fine displays.

Zaha scored in the Chelsea victory and the winger is 4-6 with Betway to move to Stamford Bridge in the summer and 6-4 to still be at Palace after the close of the summer window.

Everton starlet Tom Davies signed a new five-year deal with the Toffees on Monday.

Expert verdict
Manchester United kicked off their campaign with an impressive 4-0 win over West Ham but Swansea will also be content after holding Southampton to a 0-0 draw at St Mary’s. The Swans pose more of a threat at home, where they ended last season in great form, and an entertaining game looks likely.
