Chelsea 90-1 to land full trophy haul this season

PREMIER LEAGUE leaders Chelsea kick off Friday's football action with a home game against West Ham but Nemanja Matic has outlined the Blues' long-term ambitions.

The defensive midfielder was asked about Chelsea's chances of winning the Premier League, FA Cup, Capital One Cup and Champions League this term and responded: "I don't want to say that we're going to but we're going to try. We have quality.

"I am confident, I believe in my team-mates, so everything is possible."

Paddy Power offer 90-1 about Jose Mourinho's men claiming all four major trophies but there has been some interest from punters after Monday's 2-0 win at Stoke.

Ladbrokes have trimmed the Blues' quadruple odds from 110-1 to 66-1 this week - it was a 2,000-1 shot with Coral and Hills at the start of the season.

Chelsea face Liverpool in the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup and have a home draw against Watford in the third round of the FA Cup. It's 11-1 that they win the domestic treble this season.

Hills have priced up how many points each Premier League team will gain from their three games over the festive period and the firm expect Manchester City to maintain the pressure on Chelsea.

It's 66-1 that City pick up two points or fewer from their fixtures at West Brom and at home to Burnley and Sunderland. The champions are 1-5 to take at least seven points from their next three games.

Arsenal have a trappy set of fixtures, at home to QPR on Friday and then away to high-flying West Ham and Southampton. Hills make the Gunners 13-10 to win seven or more points from those fixtures.

Frank Lampard has made a major impact at Manchester City, scoring four league goals before Christmas, and the club are hoping to extend his loan deal from New York City to the end of the season.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini said: "I hope Frank's situation will be resolved in the next days."

West Ham have received a boost with the announcement that midfielder Alex Song has been left out of Cameroon's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on January 17.

Former England international Emile Heskey has been given a contract with Championship strugglers Bolton. Heskey was released by A-League side Newcastle Jets earlier this year and joins Bolton with the club 10-1 to be relegated.
