China likely destination for departing Drogba
CHELSEA have announced that Champions League final hero Didier Drogba has played his last game for the club and it seems increasingly likely that the Ivory Coast striker is heading for a move to China.
Drogba has decided to go out on a high and he had been 8-13 with Ladbrokes to seal a move to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua before Chelsea’s announcement.
Roberto Martinez has returned to the top of the next Liverpool manager betting and was last night available at 6-4 to step in to the breach created by Kenny Dalglish’s dismissal.
Fabio Capello is as short as 5-1 for a summer move to Anfield – Hills go 16-1 – and 10-3 to be Chelsea’s next permanent boss.
Manchester City are expected to try to strengthen their squad over the summer and Hills reckon Lille’s hot property Eden Hazard is the most likely new arrival at the Etihad Stadium.
Hazard is 11-10 to join City during the transfer window while Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is a 6-4 chance.
Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given is set to miss training for two to three days after undergoing a scan on a minor knee injury.
Given is a doubt for Saturday’s friendly at home to Bosnia and defender John O'Shea will miss the match with an ankle injury.
