Citizens 8-1 to crack Europe next season
MANCHESTER CITY have failed to crack the Champions League in their first two attempts and bookmakers are not expecting any major miracles from them next season in Europe’s elite competition.
The Premier League champions, fresh from their second straight Champions League group-stage exit, are 8-1 with bet365 to go all the way in the 2013-14 competition, while it’s 4-11 that the Citizens are still waiting for their first European Cup success by 2018.
Roberto Mancini’s position at the helm has been questioned following the latest flop but he is 8-11 to remain in charge for the start of next season and evens to have departed.
