Citizens 9-2 to overhaul Blues after Bridge draw

CHELSEA are 1-4 for the Premier League after a 1-1 draw with their nearest challengers Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The draw keeps Chelsea five points clear at the top but the Citizens are 9-2 to overhaul the leaders by the end of the season.

Loic Remy, deputising for the banned Diego Costa, put the home side ahead - he had been 7-1 with Hills to score first - but David Silva levelled for City.

The three odds-on favourites in the Premier League on Saturday all won comfortably with Manchester United beating Leicester 3-1, Liverpool defeating West Ham 2-0 and a Jon Walters hat-trick giving Stoke a 3-1 home win over QPR.

United are 40-1 to win the league and 4-9 for a top-four finish while Liverpool, for whom Daniel Sturridge scored on his return from injury, are 9-2 to make the top four for the second season in a row.

QPR's 11th away defeat out of 11 left them 4-6 for relegation and Hills expect Harry Redknapp to bolster his squad on transfer deadline day tomorrow. The Rs are 4-1 favourites to sign more players than any other Premier League side before the transfer window closes.

Few of QPR's main relegation rivals were able to take advantage of their defeat at the Britannia, however.

Leicester are 8-13 for the drop while Burnley, who lost 2-0 at Sunderland, are 8-15. West Brom were beaten 3-0 at home to Tottenham, who are 13-2 to finish in the top four, and Crystal Palace lost 1-0 loss to Everton at Selhurst Park.

Hull have been slashed for relegation after a dismal 3-0 home defeat to Newcastle and the Tigers are 11-10 to be in the Football League next season while John Carver's Newcastle are 21-20 with Betway for a top-half finish.

The race for the Championship remains as tight as ever after wins for Derby at Cardiff and Middlesbrough at Brentford.

The duo join Bournemouth, who beat Watford on Friday, as 5-2 co-favourites to win the title.

MK Dons went to the top of League One after a 5-0 win at Crewe but Bristol City, who host Fleetwood today, remain evens favourites in the third tier.

Celtic and Rangers meet in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on Sunday and Ladbrokes are offering 8-1 that both Old Firm rivals have a man sent off at Hampden Park.

The firm are betting on when the teams next meet in the Scottish Premiership - next season is the 10-11 favourite while it's 6-1 that they don't face each other in the top flight until at least 2017-18.

Ladbrokes make Celtic striker John Guidetti 20-1 to score a hat-trick while Rangers veteran Kenny Miller is 250-1 for three or more goals.

Hosts Australia won the Asian Cup on Saturday although the Socceroos - 6-5 to see off South Korea in 90 minutes - needed extra-time to seal a 2-1 victory.

The Aussies had been 3-1 second-favourites ante-post.
