Everton run riot as City are caught off guard

PEP GUARDIOLA suffered the heaviest league defeat of his managerial career as Manchester City were crushed 4-0 by Everton and the under-fire boss is 4-1 with Hills not to last the season at the Etihad.

Goals from Romelu Lukaku, Kevin Mirallas, Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman condemned City to a damaging loss which left City fifth in the Premier League and ten points behind leaders Chelsea.

City are still odds-on but out to 4-6 to land the minimum requirement of a top-four finish and bet365 are 11-10 they miss out on Champions League qualification.

Guardiola is 1-3 with Coral to survive the season as City’s manager and things don’t get any easier for him with a home clash with Tottenham to come on Saturday.

Spurs stayed second after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s late equaliser for Manchester United pegged Liverpool back in a frantic 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

James Milner’s penalty had given Liverpool a first-half advantage but the draw hurt both teams in their quest to catch Chelsea with the Blues cut to 8-13 for the title.

Liverpool, third and seven points Antonio Conte’s leaders, are 13-2 to win the Premier League, while sixth-placed United drifted to 25-1 in the title betting.

Jose Mourinho’s men are 6-4 to finish in the top four with Liverpool at 1-3.
