Hot Cherries stun United for famous victory

MANCHESTER UNITED have drifted to 15-2 with Betfred for the Premier League title after a stunning 2-1 defeat to 5-2 shots Bournemouth at Dean Court.

Goals from Junior Stanislas and Joshua King, either side of a Marouane Felliani equaliser, moved the Cherries up to 14th, one point above Chelsea.

Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League with a 2-1 win at home to Swansea, but they struggled for long periods and only won it in added time.

Sunderland are entrenched in the bottom three after Odion Ighalo’s early goal condemned them to a 1-0 defeat at home to Watford.

Fellow strugglers Norwich drew 1-1 at home to Everton and Crystal Palace climbed to sixth after Yohan Cabaye sealed a 1-0 victory at home to mid-table Southampton.

Championship title favourites Middlesbrough have been eased from 7-4 to 15-8 after drawing 0-0 at home to Birmingham.

Boro remain two points behind leaders Brighton, who are still unbeaten after drawing 2-2 at promotion rivals Derby. Brighton have been cut from 5-1 to 4-1, while fourth-placed Derby have drifted from 13-5 to 10-3.
