Hummels' header sends Germany through
GERMANY are 11-4 to win the World Cup after they beat France 1-0 at the Maracana in a tight quarter-final on Friday.
There were few obvious goalscoring chances but Mats Hummels’ early header proved to be the difference between the two European heavyweights.
Joachim Low’s side became the first team through to the semi-finals and will meet the winners of the Fortaleza clash between Brazil and Colombia.
France will be disappointed at seeing their tournament ended but the ante-post 25-1 shots did well in Brazil and should improve for Euro 2016 on home soil.
Les Bleus are 6-1 with bet365 and Ladbrokes to win that event.
