Rangers deduction set to end SPL title race
BOYLESPORTS and Paddy Power have paid out on Celtic winning the SPL after Rangers went into administration on Tuesday.
The Gers, who are four points behind their arch-rivals, will be deducted ten points as a result of the move.
The situation arose as a result of a tax tribunal which could cost the club £49m.
Rangers are still be nine points ahead of third-placed Motherwell having played a game more.
Boss Ally McCoist is 7-2 with Paddy Power to be the next SPL boss to leave his post, behind Dunfermline’s Jim McIntyre at 6-4 and Hearts’ Paulo Sergio at 3-1.
