Southampton drift to 9-2 for title after Foxes slip
SOUTHAMPTON have been eased to 9-2 by Hills for the Championship title after they slipped to just a second home defeat of the campaign against Leicester on Monday.
The Saints, now evens for promotion with Hills, stay three points behind West Ham after first-half goals from David Nugent and Matt Mills secured a successful St Mary's raid for the Foxes.
Nigel Pearson's East Midlanders remain 66-1 for top spot in the second tier but, after moving up to 13th in the table - five points off the play-off spots (although sixth-placed Birmingham have a game in hand too) - are as short as 9-2 for promotion.
BetVictor are less sure of a Leicester surge for the top-flight though, they remain 9-1.
