Swans 100-30 to win League Cup for first time

SWANSEA are 100-30 with Blue Square Bet to win the League Cup after reaching the semi-finals for the first time in their history thanks to a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at the Liberty Stadium.

A Seb Hines own goal proved to be the difference between the clubs and the Welsh side have a real chance of progressing to Wembley but Chelsea are odds-on favourites to lift the Capital One Cup.

The Blues travel to Leeds for the remaining last-eight tie on December 19 and the semi-final draw will be made once the completed field is known.

Key stats
  • Bray Wanderers have lost eight of their last nine matches
Expert verdict
Bray Wanderers inflicted Dundalk’s only defeat in their last 19 league matches when the sides met in April, but their recent form couldn’t contrast more sharply with the title favourites. Bray have won only once since that match and have conceded at least three goals in their last five fixtures. Expect Dundalk to inflict further misery.
