Lions lack the bite to extend Villa's turmoil

Millwall v Aston Villa

Millwall have gone off the boil of late, which is a shame because this should be the perfect time to kick a giant when he's down.

Villa are in turmoil after going out of the Capital One Cup and must be vulnerable in this FA Cup fourth-round tie on Friday.

There are plenty of punters who will have this in as their shock of the weekend - if you can call it a shock - but I just think the Lions lack the bite up front to really scare Villa's nervy back line.

Millwall have only scored eight in their last ten, are clearly missing the departed Chris Wood, and Paul Lambert will happily take a replay. The draw's the call.

Key stats
  • Man City have not led at half-time in any of their last 19 league meetings with Chelsea
Expert verdict
Jose Mourinho outwitted the eventual champions last season and Chelsea have the ability to do it again. They have scored nine goals in their two away games and Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas have settled in brilliantly. The Blues have far more potency in attack than last season but still possess the steel required to keep a check on City’s creative players.
