Title-chasing Tottenham frustrate Reds at Anfield
Liverpool and Tottenham shared a goalles draw at Anfield that did little to enhance either side's prospects in the Premier League.
The stalemate – a 9-1 chance before kick-off – was Liverpool’s eighth draw in 12 home matches in the league this
season and left the Reds a point behind sixth-placed Arsenal.
Title-chasing Tottenham remain in third, five points adrift of Manchester United in second, and they are out to
22-1 with Boylesports to win the league. Manchester City are the 4-7 title favourites with United at 15-8.
Well-backed Liverpool had striker Luis Suarez available after an eight-match ban but couldn’t add to their tally of just 14 league goals at Anfield this term.
Kenny Dalglish’s men are embroiled in a four-way fight for the last Champions League spot and are 10-3 with Blue Square to finish in the top four while Spurs are 1-9 with Hills to do so.
Chelsea (4-7) and Arsenal (11-4) remain ahead of Liverpool in bet365’s top-four betting and Newcastle are 16-1 to claim a Champions League place.
