Tottenham favourites to sign Lucas and Malcom

Tottenham's disappointing 1-1 draw at Southampton on Sunday highlighted the weaknesses in their squad and they have been linked with moves for attackers Lucas Moura and Malcom of Paris St-Germain and Bordeaux.

Coral are betting on where Lucas and Malcom will be at the end of January and make Spurs the favourites in each market at 11-8 and 6-4.

Real Betis are 6-4 second favourites in the race to sign Lucas, while Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal are 8-1 and 10-1 to snap up Malcom before the transfer window closes.

West Brom defender Jonny Evans has attracted the attention of some big clubs and Manchester City appear on course to win the race for his services.

Coral go 1-4 that Evans heads to the Etihad and 11-4 about 18-year-old Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare signing for City.

Sky Bet League One Oxford are searching for a new permanent manager after sacking Pep Clotet.

Derek Fazackerley has taken temporary charge of first-team affairs after Clotet's six-month tenure was brought to an end.

Expert verdict
Tottenham have made an inconsistent start to the season but still average two goals per game in the league and can see off unconvincing Inter. The Milan outfit have taken four points from four Serie A outings and Spurs won a tough group in this competition last season.
