Euro 2020 qualifying mega accumulator

Euro 2020 qualifiers 133-1 accumulator special with bet365

We’re approaching the business end of the Euro 2020 qualification campaign, and across the continent the battle for potentially pivotal points is starting to intensify.

Poland, Belgium, Russia and Italy have already secured their passage to next summer’s finals, however beyond that successful quartet of competitors, places are still up for grabs.

Let’s take a closer look at five of the most compelling looking Euro 2020 qualification matches from Tuesday’s programme.

Switzerland v Ireland

Switzerland meet Ireland in Geneva on Tuesday for a crunch Group D contest that’s heavily wrapped in intrigue.

The Swiss, who are unbeaten in competitive home matches since 2014, are a formidable outfit on their own patch, though they could find Mick McCarthy’s robust Irish outfit a tough nut to crack.

Only Ukraine and Belgium (one each) have conceded fewer goals than Ireland (two) across the 10 Euro 2020 qualification groups, though the Republic’s average of just one goal per game at the other end shines an unflattering light on the major problems they carry up front.

There have been more draws (10) in Group D than any other qualification section, and we think Ireland’s doggedness will help them to snatch another valuable point in Geneva this week.

Prediction: 1-1 Draw

Sweden v Spain

Group F leaders Spain can clinch top spot and a place in next year’s European Championship Finals with a win away at second placed Sweden on Tuesday.

La Roja have coasted through Group F so far, winning six and drawing one of their first seven matches since March.

In the midst of that run, Spain put three goals without reply past Sweden in the reverse Group fixture between the sides in June, and the Spanish table-toppers have enough quality to complete the double over their Scandinavian counterparts this week.

Prediction: 2-0 Spain

Romania v Norway

Both Romania and Norway will be waiting to pounce should Sweden slip to defeat at home to Spain.

A win for Romania in that scenario would see them leapfrog the Swedes into second place, while Norway would move past their hosts and to within a point of the qualification spots if they manage to take maximum points in Bucharest.

Romania and Norway have delivered excellent levels of entertainment during their Euro 2020 qualification campaigns, with their fixtures averaging 3.2 and 3 goals per 90 minutes respectively.

The nations’ ability to thrill was never more evident than in their 2-2 draw back in early-June, and we see their rematch on Tuesday playing out along the same lines.

Prediction: 2-2 Draw

Finland vs Armenia

A rejuvenated Italy team blitzed their way to top spot and Euro 2020 qualification in Group J, though the skirmish to claim the runners-up prize is still raging.

The nations currently placed second and third respectively, Finland and Armenia, face off in Helsinki on Tuesday, in a fixture that certain to have major ramifications for the section’s final shake-up.

Successive defeats to Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina have left the Finns in a spin, however we’re backing them to recover this week against an Armenia side that they beat 2-0 in March.

Finland won seven of their last nine matches on home turf, and they can harness the energy of their vociferous support to triumph again in Turku on Tuesday.

Prediction: 2-0 Finland

Greece vs Bosnia & Herzegovina

Bosnia & Herzegovina will be watching developments in Turku with interest, though victory in Greece on Tuesday is a must for them if they are to capitalize on any favourable results in Finland.

To win in Athens however, Bosnia & Herzegovina must rid themselves of the travel sickness that has hindered their quest for qualification and left them playing catch up in Group J.

Bosnia & Herzegovina were beaten in all three of their away matches to date, and there are serious doubts as to whether they have the mental fortitude to take three points in Greece with the pressure to win at its maximum.

The Greeks and Bosnia & Herzegovina shared the spoils on each of their last three meetings (2019, 2017 & 2016), and we think another draw is the likeliest outcome when the renew acquaintances this week.

Prediction: 1-1 Draw
