Foxes can edge cracker to close in on Wembley

Sky Sports Football, 8pm Wednesday

Leicester are long odds-on to make the EFL Cup final and will be hoping to put their tie with Aston Villa to bed after the first leg.

The Foxes have an established back four that play well together but that has not translated to as many clean sheets as expected – they have kept only one in their previous six league contests.

Their attacking nature often leaves them susceptible on the counter and backing a Leicester win and both teams to score has become a solid punting strategy this term.

It clicked when these sides met in the Premier League in December with Villa managing 15 shots despite losing 4-1 at home to their Midlands rivals.

The Foxes have played some exceptional football this term and their first leg with Villa could turn out to be another cracker.

Expert verdict
Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the FA Cup third round and a similar scoreline could follow at the KCOM Stadium. Inconsistent Hull managed only three shots on target en route to losing their last two Championship outings and the youthful Blues look a class above their hosts.
