Sheffield United v West Ham preview

Sky Sports Premier League, 8pm Friday

Sheffield United and West Ham avoided slip-ups against lower-ranked opposition in the FA Cup third round and will be hoping to carry that form into the Premier League.

The Blades are without a win in three top-flight assignments, dropping points in a 1-1 home draw with Watford and in excusable away defeats against Manchester City and Liverpool.

But a meeting with the poor-travelling Hammers represents an opportunity for Chris Wilder’s men to get back on track.

The visitors have enjoyed a positive start to life under returning manager David Moyes, but four defeats in six on the road shines a light on the problems the Scot has inherited in east London.

Expect the robust Blades to capitalise on West Ham’s travel sickness.

Key stats
  • Wolves have scored just twice in their last three at home in the Premier League
Expert verdict
Goals are proving difficult to come by for Wolves, who have rattled the net just six times in their last seven league fixtures. Wanderers could struggle again to break down a Norwich team that have shipped just three goals in their last four matches. The Canaries can keep the score down at Molineux.
