Arsenal 11-4 for title after thrashing United

ARSENAL served serious notice of their Premier League title ambitions with a comprehensive 3-0 success over Manchester United at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s side were cut to 11-4 to win the Premier League after moving up to second in the table following the fabulous win which was achieved thanks to a blistering first-half performance inspired by the ace Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean scored twice inside the opening 20 minutes, while Mesut Ozil was on target as United, who started the weekend top of the Premier League, were totally ripped apart.

Sanchez, now on five Premier League goals for the season, is 11-1 with Ladbrokes to win the Golden Boot, while six-goal Sergio Aguero heads the market at 10-11. United are available at 8-1 to win the title with both the Red Devils and Arsenal two points behind leaders Manchester City, who are 8-11 favourites.

Liverpool are 11-4 to finish in the Champions League qualification spots following their 1-1 draw at Merseyside neighbours Everton – a result which saw Brendan Rodgers sacked by the Anfield club.

Danny Ings put the Reds in front but Everton’s Romelu Lukaku equalised as the sides played out their sixth draw in the last seven derby duels.

Bet365 reacted by making Liverpool 2-5 shots to finish ahead of Everton, who can be backed at 7-4 in the season matchbet.
Swansea and Tottenham drew 2-2 at the Liberty Stadium as Spurs twice came from behind to pick up a point.

Andre Ayew opened the scoring only for Christian Eriksen to equalise with a free kick. Harry Kane sliced a clearance into his own net to put the Swans in front before Eriksen once again proved deadly from a free kick.

Two late goals – first from Johnnie Jackson and then Jordan Cousins – saw Charlton launch a stunning fightback to draw 2-2 at home to Fulham.

Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership favourites Celtic won 2-1 at Hamilton with Dedryck Boyata and Leigh Griffiths on target after Gramoz Kurtaj put Accies in front.

There was a far more convincing win in the German Bundesliga as Bayern Munich battered nearest challengers Borussia Dortmund 5-1 at the Allianz Arena.

Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski both hit doubles and Mario Gotze was also on target against his former club.
