Young Boys can run
wild in Europa League
THERE'S no need to look beyond the young boys double on this week's Europa League coupon.
Liverpool have travelled to land of former glories Istanbul with a heavily weakened squad, but Besiktas don't look anything special and also have key players out.
Some of the players Liverpool have taken were barely out of nappies when Steven Gerrard lifted the European Cup in 2005 but Brendan Rodgers seems to have the magic touch with youngsters and can get a positive result at the Ataturk.
The other part of the young boys double is, er, Young Boys.
They were hammered by Everton in the first leg but I'm still not totally convinced by the Toffees, and the Swiss side look full of goals. They stuck four past Basel at the weekend and Everton have got a tough weekend match against Arsenal to worry about.
If the double comes in I'll be singing "Young Boys!" to the tune of Duran Duran's The Wild Boys all night.
Now there's a gag for the kids.
